The Road Less Traveled

Robert Frost said to take the road less traveled. Robert Frost had a choice, but what if
there is only one path. This one path, filled with prickly thorns all over and bursts of
flames, with witches and devils, and with posinous streams, is what I must keep trecking in.
Nonetheless, I can see the end. It seems so near yet so far away. There is a golden temple
like structure. When I reach this building I’m fenced out from all sides, these bars are
invisible to the distant, yearning eyes. Trying to look in, I rest my hands on the bars
and immediately the doors of the building close. Not only can I not have but I can’t even
look at what I have endured pain for. Something so great, something so wanted, is forbidden
from all sides.

Paradise

Sun rays beamed down, as if earth was a paradise
newly discovered, after the treacherous storms.
Where beginnings were fresh
and the past: put away in a sacred chest.
The flourishing paradise, a picture perfect place.
The present great because the future was unknown.
The Light: so bright, warm, and powerful;
its blinding beams, kept secret a deadly storm in the distant.
Then all shook, the end seemed to be near …
The ground cracked underneath, thunder came roaring
whipping against the endless sky,
winds gusted about as if God had flown by. [more]

Ragyi told me this last night .. thought I should save it. Its probably something I would say
if my life was going my way. So I must remember it.
“If you don’t believe, you don’t succeed and if you don’t apply you won’t acheieve keep your
head up high feet down low, follow your heart till you get to the door.”
The Babies in Us All

Most people go through a phase of rebellion with their parents. Things are said and done, that
quite frankly hurt one another. It is a tough time for both parties. One says, "I want to be
free." They express desire for their independence. If by any chance they are unhappy with their
social status, which is true in most cases. The parents are blamed for this and all other
shortcomings.
The parents on the other side, find it hard to let go. After all, they have brought these
youngsters up, at least until now. The parents have been with their kids through thick and thin.
In most cases, parents sacrifice their own happiness and desires to keep their kids happy and
healthy. Again, in most cases (I throw this caveat because it is definitely not true among ALL
parents) the parents' lives start revolving around their kids. Decisions are made regarding work,
vacations, homes, finances, all in favor of the child(ren)'s happiness.

Florida Trip

I went to Florida this past weekend for a wedding. The wedding was very beautiful. It was a Caribbean style wedding with lots of music, dolphins, and food. I also went to the everglades and a park down in Key Largo that was supposed to have tours to see the coral reefs but it was too windy. I had a great time there. There are pictures put up so check them out!
Bodies, The Exhibition

There is this neat exhibit out in Rosslyn, VA. Its called Bodies. And they have real, dead people
that have been preserved and opened up to show how each one of us look in the inside. Its only
here until October 14th in this area so hurry and go! Warning: You must be able to digest the
view. Some of it is kind of mind boggling, they way they have kept the bodies. I know there is
a controversy of whose bodies these are but I guess no one knows for sure. They are supposedly
of those that died naturally. Take it with a grain of salt. But it is quite neat to see.

I am going to my first "American" wedding! I'm so excited. I've actually never been to a wedding of anyone's outside of my family, and of course they were all Hindu weddings, so this will definitely be interesting. The wedding is in Miami, FL .. yeeeeeeeah! =P haha There a lot of firsts on this trip for me. I've only been to Florida once and that was to go to Orlando .. Disney World back in 1999. This will also be the first time I go anywhere (not work related) without any of my family members. Although, it would be nice if my sister was going. =( I'm planning on seeing the Everglades and possible go snorkeling in the Atlantic Ocean. Wheeeeeeeeee!! =D

Photos
I added a new page with photos. I'm starting to make my own album because I haven't found a
nice site that does albums the way I like them.

In the Kitchen
In the Media section you can find recipes to various foods that my sister and I find
intriguing to make. Right now there are only three: Naan, Murgh Malai Kabab, and
Paneer Cutless. I'll be adding more as we go on and keep you updated on new recipes.
Bon Appetite!

Have you ever wanted your own personal airport, with planes flying on your command? Think how
wonderful and convenient that would be. You could go wherever and whenever your heart desired.
You want to take a vacation for a couple of hours? No problem, just hope on to a plane and go!
Alright, so you need a million-trillion bucks to fulfill that dream, right? Wrong.
